ENTW9 Dance Company is a female led dance company, based in Worcestershire. Founded by Lois Press in 2018, ENTW9 aims to bring dance to the wider community through classes, projects and performances. More Than Just Dance is the ethos for ENTW9. We believe that dance can form communities of like-minded individuals and become a form of expression for deeper emotions. 

 

In 2020, ENTW9 expanded their organisation to include regular classes for children. ENTW9 Dance School focuses on teaching children to move in a pressure-free and encouraging environment. ENTW9 are also expanding to launch a new contemporary youth dance company which aims to inspire the next generation of dancers. 

 

ENTW9's creative practice involves the use of flow and fluidity within movement language and focus' on creating around the human experience. In September 2023, ENTW9 are performing a Triple Bill of work surrounding the themes of Sleep, Grief and bodies of water. Departures focuses on themes of loss and grief and the notion of individuals entering and leaving your life. Lucid explores the idea of drowsiness and the desire to fall asleep. Current is a new dance created in collaboration with dance artists from both ENTW9 and Dancefest.
